Full English Translation of Ana Msh 3adad

I'm not just a number
I'm a two days old child
I'm the one on a bicycle and that's my dad jumping with joy
I'm the one who's fixing his jacket while my mom's worrying
about evil eyes!
I'm not a figure in the absence lists
I'm the one who's hiding tales within a book
I'm the one whose folks went through hell for
I'm not only a case and we're not just "somebodies"
I'm the one whose lover's been waiting for so long
to make it and get done with college, army, and all that madness
I'm not a figure written on my dead body
I'm a normal person....I'm a football match in my neighbourhood
I'm the one painting on trees along the way
I'm not a date, and not an announcement
I'm a knock that doors well recognize
I'm the one who dances in all the neighbours' weddings
I'm not a flag and a couple of mourning days
I'm not a protest, and not a song
I'm the one whose mother's will spend mourning, and every feast soaked in black
I'm not just a number!!
You're the traiter..you walked away and let go of my right
you're the murderer..you left me to die and made pacts with my blood
you settled for killing, injustice, subjugation and humiliation
your silence has turned me from a person into a digit inside a column
I'm dead thirsty, my land...dead thirsty for freedom
I'm dead but with a principle!! holding your flag!
Calling for dignity...with your name engraved in my heart
How could you trivialize my blood? simply throwing the recoupement to my mother!
When I stayed up long nights drawing a signboard with your flag on it
And I joined the demonstrations clamouring and calling your name
I'm the one who loves you, but you still defamed my reputation
your sea, streets, and sands still have their effects on my body
I'm your every memory, I'm your every joy
and I always pray for God to keep you safe
I'm the tear of some other mother, I'm a soonly faded dream
I'm the one who died , so you, Egypt, could long live and be higly raised.
I'm Ghandour
I'm Mina
I'm El-Shekh Emad
I'm the one who died , so you, Egypt, could long live and be higly raised

Released January 20, 2011

______ _________ corruption.
in __________ of the country to a dangerous degree.
___________ to the reputation of Egypt
at home and abroad.

Yeah. Change is forbidden. Revolution Records.

The Land of Civilization has been stricken by drought. We've seen enough oppression.
Conquered, shackled, destroyed. I feel like my mind has been paralyzed.
My blood is flowing in my hands right now. Right now their rule is slipping.
I'm losing my dignity outside because in my country it's easy to oppress me.
In my country, their devouring my rightful due. They're suppressing the voice of justice.
When those who accept silence rise, ________
Peasants are in a silent posture. I made it linked to the ball.
All the people are running while my legs are bound and tied down.
Make the oppressor fear the truth. The great march is coming.
The night is long. In my hands I bring light.
Country of injustice, the hour is here and Egypt is the land of goodness.
And the truth will come on the day of that hour because your Lord is great.
Your condition is incredible, Egypt. Fear is deeply rooted in you.
Don't ignore the rest, son of my country. Egypt is calling for you!
The journal begins with a single step, then a yell, and finally a revolution.
The meaning of revolution is unity and the beginning of the falling rain!

______ is forbidden. Freedom of expression is forbidden.
Freedom is forbidden. Change is forbidden.
Speaking is forbidden. I want to get on a plane and fly away.
I'm forbidden from loving my country. I'm forbidden from changing my country!
(x2)

A warning to every oppressor and a message to the government.
The ages of truth are coming. The Egyptian will rise up.
How many will be sacrificed? Your reasons are logical.
The Emergency Law will end [and you'll replace it with] the laws of terror - they're coming!
Whoever wants freedom must seize it.
My freedom isn't a gift because [the government] controls it.
I'm tired of promises every day and the same discussions.
Every day we wait for a tomorrow that might be better than what has come before.
The police are the ones who guard us. Their role is still to hurt us.
Every police officer still thinks of himself as the captain of the ship.
The opposition parties are disappointing. The nation's will is dissipating.
The most negative word you can hear is "it's no use."
The divided Sudan. They took Tunis.
They cut up Lebanon. They divided Egypt.
For my country, I prefer unity. One hand - always unity!
Our Lord will always protect it against the hearts of the godless!

______ is forbidden. Free expression is forbidden.
Freedom is forbidden. Change is forbidden.
Speaking is forbidden. I want to get on a plane and fly away.
I'm forbidden from loving my country. I'm forbidden from changing my country!
(x2)

I'm not with any political party and I'm not against any political party.
I'm just one Egyptian who wants my country to be the best country in the world.
All Egyptians, whether Muslim or Christian,
we must become united against savagery
and against oppression and against terrorism and against corruption.
God protect you, Egypt.

Change is forbidden!

______ is forbidden. Free expression is forbidden.
Freedom is forbidden. Change is forbidden.
Speaking is forbidden. I want to get on a plane and fly away.
I'm forbidden from loving my country. I'm forbidden from changing my country!

God protect you, Egypt.

Down With Military Rule - Ahmed Rock, Revolution Records
Egypt
Released on November 16, 2011

Note: this is my first draft, so corrections are welcome!
Full Arabic and English Lyrics after the jump...

Once upon a time, one day,
the youth were told that they were living as cowards.
So they rose up amidst the gloom and for 18 days
they decided to arise from sleep and break down the walls.
A revolution against the tyrant in which the regime was overthrown
ended up putting [in power] the thieves who decided to take revenge [against the people].
Their spiritual father [Mubarak] is a traitor. I will show all the secrets!
The people must lose their minds! Threaten stability!
Field Marshal [Tantawi], Your Excellency, I will say one word to you.
You won't stay in power your whole life. Throughout the whole ordeal we'll be united!
Arm the police more. Cut and pass out the cake.
Conduct more military trials. Defile the images of the dead.
Imprison everyone who rises up. It depends on blasphemy.
Opportunists everywhere crawl behind the carrot.
Fixed elections! Gangster politics!
And whoever speaks up does his time in a military tribunal.

They seem to have forgotten who we are! They think that we're still scared!
We saw death in front of us and we stood there smiling!
We'll remind them, if they forget, that we're the generation of revolutionaries!
No matter how much the oppression against us increases, we'll break down all the jail cells!

They seem to have forgotten who we are! They think that we're still scared!
We saw death in front of us and we stood there smiling!
We'll remind them, if they forget, that we're the generation of revolutionaries!
No matter how much the oppression against us increases, we'll break down all the jail cells!

Whoever tastes the taste of freedom, even if it's in his imagination,
never lets it go. Were someone to stand in front of him
or try to imprison our voices, throw me behind bars!
The truth will be set free even if there's a million jailers guarding it!
No one's above the law. Everyone will be subject to its oversight.
A constitution, a parliament, and a government that's responsive to the majority.
We've learned enough of a lesson. We're not feeling the change.
Military dialogues again! We don't want a field marshal to rule us!
Workers say "they are the promises of a liar." Every word like this is significant.
I'll never lick your boots. I'll never be a dalduul [?]
I'll never make a negative person _____ [?]
And when my turn comes, I'll put it in my rapid-fire megaphone.
Keep mocking the Interior Ministry, that swamp of psychological sicknesses.
Let the revolution benefit you. The people are the victim.
I'll never go back to suffering again and I'll never for one day go back to being a coward.
I'll never forget my name. I'll go back to [Tahrir] Square again!

Why hasn't SCAF, even now, brought any military police officer to trial?
It's as though they're measuring or testing us. The army safeguarded the revolution?
The army didn't actually safeguard the revolution! The people are the ones who guarded the revolution!
We were present in Tahrir Square on the day of the Battle of the Camel.
The army is the one who opened a pathway for the Mubarak fulul [dead-ender loyalists] who were trying to kill us
and brought youth who were infiltrated on Twitter to military tribunals on the pretext
of what it describes as "calls against the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces."
SCAF must relinquish power quickly
and it must heed the civilians and stop undermining them and sowing doubts about them.
The rule of law means its application for all people, from the field marshal to the night watchman.
The Supreme Council of the Armed Forces has lost its stock [of credibility].
The Supreme Council of the Armed Forces has lost its stock [of credibility].
The Supreme Council of the Armed Forces has lost its stock [of credibility].
