Angham

Angham (born January 19, 1966) is an Egyptian singer, record producer and actress. Her debut was in 1987 under the guidance of her father, Mohammad Suleiman. She is the most successful vocal female artist in Egypt starting from the 1980s till nowadays. Following her divorce from Magdy Aref in 2000, Angham took much more control over her image and musical style after that “Leih Sebtaha” (Why Did You Leave Her) record established her into a strong position amid the constant emerge of new voices in the Middle East music scene. After a highly publicized feud between Alam elPhan Music Records’ president Mohsen Gaber and the artist , Angham moved to another record company, Rotana. In 2005, she released "Bahibbik Wahashteeny" (I Love You, I Miss You) record . The record was critically acclaimed, but commercially was not as expected. After a three years, Angham return to the forefront of Arabic pop music in 2007 with her hit record “Kolma N’arrab” (Whenever We Come Closer) which sold more than half a million CD across the Middle East in less than three months and was awarded a platinum certification.
Angham was named the best selling female pop artist in Middle East for the years 2000, 2001 , 2003, and 2007 . She is well-known for her vocal range, simplicity, melismatic style, and use of the whistle register. However, some critics have said Angham's efforts to showcase her vocal talents have been at the expense of communicating true emotion through song rather than showing her full vocal capacities. Desert Heat

Desert Heat is an Arab hip hop group originating from the UAE (United Arab Emirates). Formed in late 2002, Desert Heat consists of two Emirati brothers Salim Dahman known as ‘Illmiyah’ (eel-mee-yah) and Abdullah Dahman known as ‘Arableak’.
Desert Heat primarily rap in English, but the majority of their songs contain some Arabic language content. They speak about their own struggles, what it is like being an Arab youth.Desert Heat's first public performance was in an audition for Akon in Dubai. The band became so popular, Desert Heat actually was one of the opening acts on launch of MTV Arabia in November 2007 alongside Akon, Ludacris and Karl Wolf.

Born on 05/12/1979, in Aleppo, Syria. Mohannad’s voice was first discovered by his grandmother, when he was 10 years old. Then, he joined to the musical institute, the strange thing being he escaped from the singing lessons! After this, his uncle, the cinematic director Bilal Al-Sabouny, went with Mohannad to the GREATEST Well-known voice in the Arabic public, Sabah Fakhry, and the last sent him to best musical teachers in Aleppo to learn "Almowashahat".He moved to Lebanon to continue his studies in the "Conservatory" for the next two years. After graduating, Mohannad started to work full-time as a professional talented singer in Lebanon, and then he signed a contract to move to Dubai and worked there for about four and a half years.In 2004, he participated in Super Star 2 (2004), from about 80,000 participants, he was chosen by the commission with other 81 participants. In the second round, he sang with the 4th group, in the 4th episode. But it wasn't really fair! Mohannad didn't make it, but to everyone’s surprise, the producers chose Mohannad to perform in the last chance episode! And he made it and passed to the third round.It's May 30, 2004, the first episode of the last round! Everyone was in stress, the challenge is harder, more responsibility! But Mohannad, proved his ability to sing all the Arabian music types! During the third round, he proved himself, Mohannad won thousands of hearts!After "Super Star 2004", Mohannad released a single, Ollo (2ollo), as Future TV promised, with all the other 16 participants. On the internet, Mohannad's song got the second place!the last period, Mohannad recorded another single, called "Min Zaman Wana Bastannak", unfortunately, the release date was delayed several times as a result of problems within the Future TV administration. At last his single is released only on Syrian FM (Al Madinah FM Radio). Chouftchouf, groupe fassi, formé de quatre membres : *Marwane alias : Mc-morice et Driss alias : Dinamic-so, les deux rappeurs enragés. *Hatim alias : Mr-hatim, le Raggaman de haut niveau. *Simo alias : Dj-africano un spécialiste dans le monde dijing. Ils ont en commun la passion pour la musique et ils se mettent en œuvres pour pouvoir créer une fusion « Rap-ragga ». En 2002, au tout début de l’aventure, il y avait Mr-hatim et Mc marteau le rappeur agressif, amis depuis toujours, c’est là ou le groupe Chouftchouf est né. Très vite les Mc’s se mettent au travail en composant la première Maxi « rap-developpa », qui a connu un bon succès auprès du publique fassi, malgré l’insuffisance technique et matérielle, pas question de baisser les bras, loin d’être découragé ! Le groupe poursuit sa lancé en participant à plusieurs concerts. Tenant bon, sans ressource extérieure, et ayant besoin d’un nouveau souffle, Chouftchouf adopte un jeune rappeur de talent « Dinamic-so », ce dernier reprendra la relève menant le groupe vers le festival de « la fête de musique » ou il fait une excellence prestation et donne une bonne impression. Chaleureusement, sollicité par les Mc’s, Chouftchouf organise pour la première fois, une compétition nationale à Fès qui a connu la participation de plusieurs groupes marocains, pour pouvoir donner à ces jeunes talents l’occasion de faire face au publique fassi. En 2006, Chouftchouf a eu le plaisir d’adopter un musicien de talent, très connu par sa voix chaude, Mc-morice, l’ami du groupe dés le départ, c’est cette même adoption qui donnera le feu vert à l’enregistrement des tubes Chouftchoufistes entre autres, des free styles et des compilations. Cheb Wissem

Cheb Wissem (né le 10 janvier 1982 à Sfax) est un jeune chanteur, musicien, compositeur et musicologue de Raï tunisien. Il joue de la guitare et du oud et chante aussi bien en français qu'en arabe. On entend souvent "Sfax est la capitale de la musique en Tunisie". Cela est dû à la tradition enracinée de la musique dans la famille sfaxienne dont on trouve toujours un joueur de oud ou de violon et un percussionniste.
